Wind energy will grow in the coming years

Even though there is crisis allover, OWE will keep growing. At least, that's what Benno van Dongen says. Benno is consultant at Roland Berger, a worldwide strategy consultancy.
Roland notices a couple of trends:
1. Smaller players will enter the market
2. Market share of the top 4 producers will therefore decline further so they have to keep on top of innovation.
Between 2011 and 2020 European governements will invest around 120 Bilion in wind energy projects.
Does it all have to do with international image of a country? I'm interested to hear what you think.
One thing is for sure. To keep growing, costs will have to be brought down. Profit can mainly be gained in the manufactoring of the turbines. Maybe competition will help here.

If this is true .... why are DENMARK apparently shutting down their WIND FARMS .... and there have been problems in Scotland in the last week due to the HURRICANE when one of the systems burst into FLAMES
So perhaps there are alternative " BETTER RENEWABLE " Solutions such as PUMPED STORAGE HYDRO Stations
