I saw a great new way of getting lots of green energy by using Kites on TED.com. Placing Kites at about 300 meters in the air could generate tremendous new way of getting offshore wind energy cheap. Low cost, high impact.

What a brilliant idea. However how do they keep the kite up. Could there be some possible use offshore?
